The Arab Chamber of Commerce has hired a new president. Lauren Whitlock, a graduate of Arab High School and The University of Alabama-Huntsville, will begin Oct. 7.
Whitlock currently works for the Marshall County Economic Development Council in Guntersville. She will replace Sandra McNabb, who has been interim president since former president Katy Norton resigned earlier this year to go to work for the Marshall County Convention and Tourism Bureau.
