South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce President & CEO, Donna Watts, was presented with the prestigious Jamie Wallace Award during the annual meeting of the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama (CCAA) held in Birmingham on December 7, 2018. The award is presented to Chamber professionals who have displayed outstanding attributes in their daily vocation. It awarded only in years in which an individual meets the strict stated criteria, and is chosen from nominees submitted by CCAA members and awarded by an outside panel of judges. It is the highest award presented by CCAA.
The award is named after legendary Alabama chamber of commerce executive Jamie Wallace, longtime President of the Selma-Dallas County Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes the career accomplishments of a chamber of commerce executive who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, service and dedication to the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama.
Morri Yancy, President and CEO, Lake Guntersville Chamber of Commerce, and past Wallace Award recipient made the presentation to Watts on behalf of CCAA.
“Donna is truly a dedicated professional who seeks to see her community, her state, and her region successful,” Yancy said. “She has worked tirelessly over her career to give her best to every opportunity to serve, including her dedication to CCAA.”
