PRESIDENT of the OPELIKA CHAMBER
Reports To Opelika Chamber Executive Committee and Board of Directors
The President is the chief executive/administrative officer of the organization. Duties are subject to the direction of the Executive Committee. The President is accountable to the Executive Committee for the development and coordination of the Annual Business Plan (Program of Work), organizational structure, and policies and procedures adopted by the board. The scope of work also includes volunteer/leadership development, motivation, all income and expenditures, maintaining and growing membership, employment, training and development of staff, as well as the initiating of the Strategic Planning Process to include short and long-term goals. The President/CEO is also responsible for representing the organization throughout the community serving as an official spokesperson for the organization and to the business community. The President will be expected to reside within the Opelika Chamber service area.
