Executive Director, Wetumpka Area Chamber of Commerce

Job Summary:

The Executive Director is the Chief Executive and Administrative Officer, serves as a member of the Executive Committee, and is responsible to the Board of Directors for the full range of activities, including but not limited to, coordination of the program of work; organizational structure and procedures; motivation of volunteers; budgeting; training and supervision of staff; long range planning; and liaison among Chamber Board, Staff, Members, the City, and Community.


The Executive Director will attend scheduled Wetumpka City Council meetings, and will provide for weekend opening of the Chamber office or attend community events as needed.


The Director will also be responsible for maintaining social media presence, website, and publication of Chamber newsletter.
