Join us Wednesday, March 5, 2025, for the inaugural Chamber Day at the Capitol. Hosted by the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama (Alabama Chambers), Chamber Day will bring chamber professionals and leadership from across the state to Montgomery to celebrate the incredible impact our chambers are having in their local communities and on our state as a whole.
A full day is planned with attendees gathering to hear from state leaders including Lieutenant Governor Will Ainsworth, Speaker of the House Nathanial Ledbetter, Senate President Pro Tem Garlan Gudger, House Minority Leader Anthony Daniels and more. Following the leadership presentations, we will travel en masse to the Alabama State House to visit the offices of each member of the House and Senate to bring awareness of the important role our local chambers play in moving Alabama forward and representing the business community. Our afternoon will wrap up at the Alabama State Capitol where we will get a chance to hear from Governor Kay Ivey.
Chamber Day will continue into the evening as we attend the Battle of Goat Hill, the annual charity softball game between the Alabama Senate and House, at Riverwalk Stadium, where we will cheer on our local delegations as they compete for a good cause.
Chamber Day at the Capitol is a time for chamber staff to join with their executive committee members, governmental affairs committee members, mayors, city council members, and/or county commissioners to gather together in celebration of our local chambers, to engage in the political process in Montgomery, and to connect with their legislative delegation in Montgomery.
